10. Anniversary of our journalism workshop with @KJS_Koeln where researchers from @ECON_tribute met journalism students do discuss and disseminate exciting research (e.g. the effects of poverty on decision making or why @ChatGPTapp might break @Google's monopoly).
Yesterday, we had a fruitful exchange at our annual journalist workshop @eeg_mpi @KJS_Koeln @ECON_tribute where our researchers presented their latest research to journalism students. Excited to read the results soon! Thanks to everyone contributing! @dfg_public @UniCologne

I have received some calls since the PISA test scores were released. The most alarming trend is captured below. Our recent field experiment highlights that.ranking countries based on low-stakes assessments is problematic because effort matters greatly.
