And the Memphis Grizzlies finally beat OKC for the first time since 2022. (In summer league, but they need this victory.).

Couple of roster observations:.• Carlson sticking with OKC at least for the summer.• Leons played for the Blue last year and had 19 pt and 21 reb night.• No Sorber, but Topic/Ajay running the show is a pretty incredible pairing for a summer league team coming off a title.

One year short of a decade later of KD’s 4th of July departure, and OKC’s celebrating its first title with a core that was in middle/high school at the time. Little did they know what they would mean for a random Midwest city.

How much does this championship mean to me?. Getting chills every time I put on the generic, stiff as a board, G7 shirt from Paycom Center.

When OKC’s inevitably been in the 2nd apron for 3 of 5 years, it will cause their FRP to be pushed to #30. EXCEPT, one of the picks Presti’s been kicking down the road for a decade finally stops as a top 10 pick. It’s going to send NBA twitter into a tailspin. Lol.

Myles Turner reportedly wanted the Pacers to pay him more than the contract Naz Reid received from the Timberwolves, per @espn . “But no one saw the Bucks creating salary cap space to sign Turner. And once they did, they could then outbid Indiana. Minnesota signing center Naz

Always considered myself a pretty frugal person who doesn’t buy things I don’t need…. But apparently that mindset does not apply to Thunder championship gear.

Yes, the 40 point Finals performance is going to age like fine wine. But the resilience to bounce back and be ready to go for game 1 of the Memphis series 11 days later… pretty special for a 3rd year player.

Going from finally having a breakthrough in the playoffs to leaving the only franchise you’ve ever known in FA…. What a 6 months for Myles Turner.

Essentially these were the two options for SGA’s next deal. He took a deal for less years and less money today. Went ahead and deleted the previous tweet, as the years were off for the summer of 2026. Regardless, Shai is here for the long haul.

I truly can’t imagine being a NOLA fan, paying the luxury tax, & not making the playoffs. Small markets operating like this end up failing miserably and finding a new suitor.

A league source I talked to this evening expressed similar sentiments believing that West teams are adding size in reaction to the Mavericks size and front court depth and are gearing up for match ups against the Mavs and not OKC #MFFL.

36 year old KD, 31 y.o FVV, and 32 y.o DFS. going all in rather than allowing youth to gain experience. We’ll see how it’ll work out for the Rockets. FWIW, Presti would never.

Is it weird that I like this move even more for the Nuggets?. Bruce Brown played his way into a 2 year, 45 million dollar contract during that Nuggets championship run. Very good start to the offseason for Denver.
