This literature review paper was particularly meaningful to me, as it gave me insight into the importance of human-centered machine learning. I am very excited to share this work at #CSCW2021. I thank all of my co-authors for their help and @NSF for funding this study. (9/9).

In addition, speculation of the real-life usage of these systems is needed to not only consider the influence on the users but also to foresee any potential negative consequences that could derive from the use of automated cyberbullying detection systems. (8/9).

We encourage future research to operationalize the concept of bullying, consider characteristics of different cultures and domains, and incorporate direct involvement of the essential stakeholders of cyberbullying to bring the human in the loop of the model development. (7/9).

Potential negative consequences from the deployment of the risk detection models, as well as the impacts it will have on the key stakeholders of the applications, were rarely discussed. Furthermore, only a few stated the real-life scenarios of the developed models. (6/9).
