A piece on the parent company of my former employer that is blunt and accurate. As much as there is no love lost with it, I will say the cost of benefits improved substantially when they took over, which shows how bad they were before.

Unfortunately, we didn’t get the decision we desired and the appellate court punted any action because the judge was removed from the bench. But Don fought every step of the way and I hope he will be brought in next time, because it most likely will happen again.

He represented three outlets here when court documents and hearings were closed to the media in Tim Bliefnick’s case. The courtroom was full of area attorneys who wanted to see his arguments.
