Lots of people who never owned a business are screaming for $15/hr min wage. How many business owners make $0 until they get their business up and running? How many business owners make less than $15/hr themselves?

@MattHintz3 Or -$10/hr called a loss something a wage earner non business owner never will understand or experience.

@TRaz13 I bet there’s been times you could add two zeros to that. The key to the kind of inefficiency is being efficient at being inefficient! 😆

@MattHintz3 Not degrading min wage workers, but if you are earning min wage, you’re at the bottom of the economy in earning power no matter what arbitrary number a politician puts there. Which means you’re also still at the bottom with $15/hr min purchasing power

@MattHintz3 How many employable people make close to minimum wage now? Not many I bet. If you're making minimum wage it's because they can't pay you any less!

@MattHintz3 I figure I pay myself around $13/hr all from the farm. Side business has paid me nothing since getting going 3 years ago.

@MattHintz3 Immigration limited to legal entry. Full employment encouraging competition for employees was doing more for real wage gains. Forced increase of minimum wage floor has a history of inflation reaction eliminating real gain. Also pushes more toward higher tax brackets.

@MattHintz3 Used to be? one replaced the expensive employee positions with automation if possible?, now it applies to the low end too! most industries that are planning a new build? have "less employees" as their no. 1 reason for doing it!

@MattHintz3 Farm pulls zero income but supplies all the boring “life” essentials, investing, insurances, electric, water, etc.
