Todays @CityofJoburgZA SOCA by Mayor @DadaMorero was a masterclass in political spin, grand visions and lofty ideals. But the people of Joburg know better. They live the truth daily, with a city in deep & visible decline. Tomorrow I’ll debate in Council. My initial thoughts below.

Tomorrow it’s @CityofJoburgZA SOCA. The city is barrelling towards collapse. Sadly, residents of joburg will probably hear a list of predictable empty promises from Mayor @DadaMorero . @ForGoodZA will continue to speak up about the ongoing failings of the current administration.

Once again @Action4SA has falsely accused @ForGoodZA of voting for something we didn’t. @Funzi_Ngobeni I was unfortunately not in the chambers when voting took place. Please refrain from making nonsense up.
Well done to @ActionSA_JHB and other parties that refused to betray the people of Johannesburg. We will never support a budget that forces residents especially the poor to pay for the @MYANC failures. Mayor @DadaMorero previously committed to removing the electricity surcharge

JOBURG ADJUSTMENT BUDGET FAILS TO ADDRESS PRESSING ISSUES. GOOD believes that the adjustment budget does not do enough to address the pressing issues which affect the residents of Johannesburg daily. We are unable to support the adjusted budget in its current form. Read
