Well, as @joboaler says, "you aren't being disruptive if you are not getting push back"(something like that;) For me, it is trying to change the system from anxiety/success to joyfulness/wellness. This would mean get rid of worksheets in elementary and asinine standardized tests.
@aimssec @MathsFoundation @TeamThandulwazi @republicofmath @Mathgarden @AAMAAP - what does thought leadership and disruptive thinking in #mathematics #education mean to you?

@stevenstrogatz A good understanding of Machine Learning and Data Science requires solid knowledge of probability which requires solid knowledge of algebra and calculus. Thinking mathematically should be the aim; not changing things because they are in trend or latest tech.

This TED talk on humour is hilarious. A must watch. Especially for math nerds (#mtbos #iteachmath #mathed)! In particular, I love this part where he lists off all the benefits of humour. Such an important yet unappreciated component of teaching. Watch: https://t.co/TtLgW68zuj

The @Confederation College aviation centre is a sight to behold. And #DYK that students in the flight program get up in the air the very first day? #cdnpse

Not sure about the title, but the article knocks it out of the park!:) More kindness and less bother about test scores would come in handy... https://t.co/0OemCllJ19
