GOAT identity 🐐 .The star of mathematics ✨ .Of course I’m talking about the… Euler’s identity!. Everyone knows it, but only a few know how to prove it. With this post I’m trying to change that. Enjoy! .🧵[1/2]

Don’t be fooled by the easy statement. This problem is quite challenging!. Nah, who am I lying to? You’ll probably solve this one in 5 minutes, tops. But there are many ways to do it, so don’t hesitate to give it a go!

This construction clearly shows that 0 should be considered a natural number, because how can you say with that 1 = ∅ without disgust.

In case you didn't know . (Btw: some math books start N with 1, others start with 0).Strange but true!

It’s always fun to take a problem, solve it, notice a pattern and generalization. Estonian problem is to solve the same system of equations but with p=23, so if you want to solve the „easier” version first, then go ahead!

To be fair I don’t believe in the Quartic Formula. It doesn’t exist for me. Elegant solutions supremacy. Deal with it.

I wrote 5 math papers but still believe that my greatest math discovery is this identity:. 262144 = √(2^6^2^1^4^4). It became a meme years after I posted it back in 2020.

Looks easy and it is easy… it would be a shame to spend more than 5 minutes on it!. Nyeh heh heh! Now you feel pressure! Now you won’t solve it that fast!. Please don’t solve it too quickly. Please ._.

Who doesn’t love a great puzzle on a Sunday afternoon? And it is quite neat as it only has one solution! Enjoy 😊

Ngl, this problem caught me off guard. How the hell are you supposed to calculate, which digit is missing without calculating the number itself? 🫠. But then I had a realisation! It’s actually quite easy! Can you figure it out? 😎

Can perfect squares be generalized? If no one did it already then you could assume that this generalization doesn’t exist. But can you prove it?! 🤔. Waiting for some creative solutions!

One of my first contacts with higher math was the equation (1/2)! = √π/2. Of course in my high school brain it didn’t add up - how can you arrange half objects in 0.886 ways? . But then I learned about the Gamma function and now you know it too. 🧵[1/2]
