This is the video of part two of my interview with Jeremy Kyle, on a prime time special last night on the crisis in our

I talked about my Mum's long wait for an ambulance after a fall at home, & death.

On average, 84 men a week take their own life.
Suicide is the biggest killer of men under 50.
Truly shocking statistics.
But the f****** Daily Mail think men who talk to each other about our feelings are 'Woke.'
Where do you f****** start?!
Fifty years on from the day the UK formally joined the European Union, I look forward to the day (I hope in my lifetime) when we rejoin what is the greatest peace and prosperity project in the history of the world.
I am European and I always will be.

It will forever shame the Labour Party that this man was its candidate for Prime Minister in two general elections.
And that the country had to vote for the utterly dreadful Boris Johnson to avoid him being in No.10 in 2019.
Labour’s former leader Jeremy Corbyn condemning Britain’s crucial military aid to Ukraine in an interview he granted to a pro-Russian, pro-Assad, pro-Hezbollah, Iranian-linked propaganda media outlet. Yikes.

Only one side of the debate is laughable, Mr Dale.
Sadly its consequences are no laughing matter, however.
Which is why we need an

🏠 So, after 41 years of living at home, today I got the keys to my own place; which I'll be moving into over the weekend.
Later in life than most folks do this I know, but this is the right time for me.
Thanks to my amazing sister & bro-in-law for their help in making it happen.
@reece_dinsdale
Actually have tears in my eyes watching that.
Thank you to that man, whoever he is, for reminding me that we can do and be so much better.
And that, I've got to believe, we are decent and compassionate as a society.
Long since time we voted the Tories out.
@TommyCorbyn
He's a political failure. A footnote in history.
Rallying a crowd at Glastonbury is no compensation for having failed-twice-to lead his party to power.
And, in fact, to having led his party to one of the worst defeats in its history.
That is the truth.
When you listen to the great Michael Heseltine and compare to the political minnows who we saw shouting over each other earlier tonight, you really do wonder what's happened to the Tory Party.

The scapegoating of Ed Davey, when he was just one of I think it is 17 Post Office Ministers since the Horizon IT scandal first came to light in 2002, is shameful.
He at least met with Mr Bates which is more than almost all the other holders of that office did.
The

Never apologise for letting your emotions show, especially in defence of humanity and of decency and of empathy.
Thank you for speaking truth to power, especially in what I'm sure was/is a challenging media environment.
Please, keep at it.
I'm 42 and both my parents are now dead.
And I know that I have siblings, a wider family and dear friends who I will need now more than ever.
But, as I sit here this morning, I feel very alone.

What an amazing reply.

This is a beautiful picture, of a couple clearly in love.
Those who bemoan the perceived 'age gap' here, but don't do so when it comes to the PM and his female partner, are being (whether they realise it or not) homophobic.
They should have a word with themselves.
Love is Love.
OMG, Adam Lambert singing 'Holding Out For A Hero' with a load of hot male dancers is the energy we all need this NYE.

Finally people are getting a glimpse at what a nasty, spiteful, bigoted group of people the 'Royal' family really are.
They're not kind and cuddly.
Not at all.
They are cold and callous.
And concerned only about their own survival.
It's time they went.

Labour will have a new leader on Saturday.
The Lib Dems won't have a new leader until approaching the middle of next year.
I love my party but, sorry, that is just plain farcical.

We Lib Dems need to be thinking very seriously and strategically about what we'd have as our red lines to either join or give confidence and supply to a Labour-led government.
Yes, of course, the need for proportional representation would be a clear red line.

I'm sure itv news will be conducting a similarly hectoring interview with former Post Office Minister and current Shadow Cabinet member Pat McFadden, right?
Because, if not, some might just think that Ed is being made a scapegoat.
EXCL: In his first in-depth interview, Sir Ed Davey refuses to apologise for his part in the Horizon scandal.
When asked more than 10 times, he says he “regrets” being lied to on an “industrial scale”, but won’t go as far as to say “sorry”.
I'm heartbroken to say that my darling mother, Jacqueline Margaret Hulbert, died this evening.
Myself, my sister Debra (

I'll miss her more than any words can express.

Men hurt too. Men feel pain too. Men get lonely too. Men feel helpless too. Men need love too.
However Mr Cameron may like to spin it, Same Sex Marriage was a Lib Dem achievement in government (building on the work of thousands of campaigners).
It was the great
@lfeatherstone
who took the legislation through Parliament.
Most Tory MPs either abstained or voted against.
A statistic we need to be reminded of more often.
Twelve men every single day take their own lives.
Suicide is the biggest killer of men aged under 50.
I ask again, why is this not a national emergency?!

All very cutesy, this.
But, hey, here's an idea Mr Chancellor.
How's about you worry less about your personal Comms and more about helping those millions of folks who still remain excluded from any of the measures you've brought in during the pandemic?
You know, just a thought.
Growing up I never thought I would be in this job (mainly because I wanted to be a Jedi).
I'm honoured that on this day last year the PM asked me to serve as Chancellor.
It's been incredibly tough but thank you to everyone who has supported me along the way.
I'll maybe write another time about the immediate years that followed, but they were very difficult.
But, right now, tears stream down my face as I think of the pain Mr Hancock's wife and children must be feeling.
May God hold them in His hands.
Frances O'Grady as impressive as ever, fighting for the rights of working people.
Whereas former Tory Chair Jake Berry MP resorts to calling Mick Lynch names.
The contrast couldn't be starker.

I know this may sound weird, as I've never met any of them, but I have a genuine love for this family.
I just wish them all the love & joy and peace and good wishes in the world.
Chasten and Pete give me such hope that we can build a better world and that tomorrow will be better.
I wish I'd had a role model like Chasten when I was a young lad, realising I was gay.

In personal news...I'm happier and more excited than I can fully express to say that, aged 41, I'm finally soon going to be moving into a place of my own.

I pride myself on being the best possible uncle I can be to my youngest relatives.
I hope I also, as a gay man, foster in them the importance of championing diversity and inclusion.

Iraq remains a large and unforgivable part of the Blair legacy, but he also led (domestically) the best government of my lifetime.
