Tracks like this remind me of the reason I started making dance music. It wasn't to make music for people to dance to. I just wanted to make music that conjures up this kind of feeling. @Junkie_XL @sashaofficial .

The hype around Serum 2 reminds me of when Synplant 2 came out and everyone was raving about how it was gonna change sound design, and it didn't. What would really change sound design is if someone made a physical modelling environment like Kyma that didn't cost $3.5k.

Using Phase Plant feels like entering the blank construct program in the matrix. Using Serum 2 feels like being onboard the Nebuchadnezzer being attacked by sentinels.

One of the biggest enigmas in trance was Jose Amnesia. Made some of the most iconic and forward thinking tracks of the 00s like 'Louder'. Even back then hardly anyone knew much about him or what he looked like.

As much as I love playing shows irl I really miss the virtual raves we put on in minecraft during the pandemic. It was so much work but so fun, and we were doing some really cutting edge shit with the live visuals.
