I genuinely look for the "old guy" trope first, and if he exists i main him, if not i go for some variation of that. Speaking of, FG developers need to add more older women, like proper gray haired Soriz type characters.

No matter what you think of this, the pure facts are that it's unsafe for most international competitors to travel to the US and I'm glad EVO gets represented in other continents. IIRC 90% of registered competitors are from the US.
EVO used to feel like one legendary event where the whole world came to compete. Now with 3 EVOs (and 4 next year), it’s slowly losing that prestige. I miss the days when there was only one EVO, one champion, one moment that defined the year.
