Yeah this is the ideal approach imo. I feel the way IDW is written just fundamentally doesn't mesh well with the games. I'd rather see the IDW characters get reinterpreted into the games, essentially.
My take on tangle n whisper as far as canon goes (ideally) is I’d like for them to be separate characters Like respect the original vision as far as characterization goes, obviously, but with none of that idw baggage yknow

Simpsons is one of those shows that would work well with exaggerated expressions and overall more cartoonish especially from those old butterfinger commercials
Kinda unrelated to the post but I feel I see some people don’t really talk about the part before this cause I think the animation there is very damn good here
