TODAY: A federal judge in Idaho will hear arguments on whether the state's anti-abortion law should be frozen. The US will argue EMTALA, an emergency care law, trumps Idaho's law that offers limited exceptions for medical emergencies.

Workers and advocacy groups have filed at least 39 federal cases this year to block employee vaccine mandates. Seven have been dismissed, and courts denied requests to temporarily block mandates in 12 of them, according to the story.

Yes, for right-to-lifers, this has never been about Roe. Dobbs is a stopping point on the road to a national ban, as far as strategy goes, or SCOTUS recognition of personhood. Have a piece on this coming out soon in @TheAtlantic.
