Episcopal Amberjax and ESJ swimmer Blakely Hammel finished 3rd place in the 200 free (2:00.83) and 4th place in the 400 free (4:15.92) at the USA Swimming Summer Junior Nationals in Irvine, California. Congrats Blakely!

Episcopal School of Jax alumnus and former Amberjax swimmer Julian Smith swam the fastest 50 breast split ever (22.15) and also threw down a (1:29.67) 200 free split on the University of Florida winning 800 free relay at the SEC Championships in Athens, Georgia. Way to go Julian!.

Very proud of our ESJ swim teams today as they both finished runner-up at the FHSAA 1A Region 1 Championship at the Bolles School. Blakely Hammel led the way with wins in the 50 free and 100 free establishing two new ESJ records. Way to go Eagles!

Our Episcopal School of Jacksonville swimming and diving teams brought home some hardware as they both finished team runner-up at the FHSAA 1A District 2 Championship at ESJ. Lots of fast swims as we move on to the Regional Championship next week.
