This is the PPG Differential from each season. Only 6 seasons out of 54 was there a single digit avg margin of victory. Since going to 7 divisions in 2013, the avg. margin has been at least 15 every year except 2—2016 & 2021.
@blackswampfb I definitely don’t follow football as closely as hoops. Are these two years significant outliers or are the finals generally not overly competitive?

With St. Henry’s D7 State Title, current MAC schools now have 50 State Football Titles. 44 credited to the MAC as Versailles won several prior to being MAC members.

Through 5/7 games, the 2025 State Football Championships have an average margin of victory of 26.6 ppg. State Finals began back in 1972—only 1976 (27.7 over 3 games) had a higher average margin of victory. My confidence level that the last 2 games will be competitive is low.

This makeup bag is honestly one of my favorite purchases ever. It’s a 10/10 for storage capacity, quality, and design. And when it gets dirty, I just toss it in the washing machine! Get yours here: https://t.co/M3k99W3qjW

In a hypothetical Tournament of Champions…you get Olentangy Orange vs Bishop Watterson in one semi, and you get Avon vs Glenville in the other…who wins the whole thing between those 4 teams?

Glenville’s defense has been unreal today. Brayden DeVito only played 2 games in his HS career without a pass or rush TD—both of which came 3 years ago his freshman year. Tarblooders make it 3 games today. Dominated the line of scrimmage & shut DeVito down. Impressive showing!

Every team that won a State Title in 2024 is on the cover of the 2025 program (per usual)…except Ironton.

Grady Kinsey is the 2025 Ohio Mr. Football winner. Well deserved to one of the greatest Ohio HS RB’s of all time! This also continues the streak of 12 straight years that the Mr. Football winner has NOT won a State Title in the same season. Last one was Dante Booker Jr. in ‘13.

Annual tradition of applying the Martin RPI formula to the CFB season to see how it shapes out! Here's this yea'rs results (also showing their CFP rank & BCS formula rank)!
Applied the Martin RPI formula to college football after yesterday’s games. Here’s the Top 25 and how the bracket would look… Looks like Bama with 3 losses might still have a better resume than these teams with fewer losses: BYU (9-2) Arizona State (9-2) Boise State (10-1)
