Standard pose but never a standard 3x3 event! The @FIBA3x3 Europe Cup in Copenhagen was another great tourny. In the short period of time that I joined the staff and players, I stopped for a moment to appreciate that GB 🇬🇧 is starting to consistently play on the big 3x3 stage🙌

A 5am wake-up. By 6.30am we’re at the venue. We’re ready by 10am with games starting at 11.15am. The final whistle is at 7.45pm. We won’t leave until 10pm and I know that I won’t unpack the van and finally rest until midnight. This event and all the work in 3x3. It’s my ikigai.

After a 14hr event, this may have been the BEST moment. If your volunteers/staff are still laughing and enjoying themselves, you know it’s been a good day. Best way of putting a giant inflatable ball away? Still working on it 😂
