So the highlights of 2024 for me was walking the whole of the Camino Frances. An incredible life changing thing. I did it mostly on a little map given to me in Sant John Pied de Port. It's on the left lol. A bit tatered and worn by the end. What a way to finger peace & direction

Of all the things revealed to me in 2024 , I never thought a new identity would be one. The light of Christ knows no bounds.

Life aye! People pretend they are doing you a favour. With quotes like " We did it for your better interest" Well if you didn't let the natural way things work out run their course then it was not in my best interest. But then to still interfere keep praying

Been an incredible year, you reflect on priorities in this season of advent. What is close to the heart. One experience stands out as incredible having found one now it's time to find the other. I am thankful though to those that have helped me the last couple of months.

There is nothing like sea swimming. Being solitary in an incredible environment. One of life's luxuries

So a bit of advise has drifted down to stick to water based activities. Yeah I'm prepared to do that. As long as there is work!

If you put the word Mad in front of anything you are making a big statement lol. I've met the most talented mountaineers who would never dream of calling themselves Mad. Lol

Today I was accused of being stuck up lol. For those that really know me that couldn't be more from the truth. Also the same for real father where having a shallow say non class pattern of thought even got him into trouble. Oh! And as for we will have a few beers I don't drink

Sometimes knowledge is accumulated over many years and shouldn't be wasted.

The STA swimming certs are great (my opinion) there are not to many of us with the certificate most only having the award. I do think though it was worth getting the certificate.

They day when you teach you learn and that's very true. I think were I learnt most was a Swiftwater Rescue Technician in MR. You learnt alot of the dynamics of water, this gave an incredible insight on how the body moves in fluid. Those many years also teaching as well.

Still has to be my one of my favourite tracks. The first band I ever saw live in Sophia Hardens before the storm rocked it. The Men in Black tour. I think I was 13. Lol. Times were different

It was great to.bump into someone the other day who quoted " It was never the same after you left. It never had the same energy" well pity that as I had to watch twice someone earn upto three times more than me who far less qualified. Still that's life aye!
