There’s a sharp spiral on every pass from last night and the ball absolutely shoots out of his hand. Does an exceptional job of layering his passes and can attack all three levels of a defense. Very natural thrower that’s exceptionally sharp.

He won’t out-run an entire defense or make too many defenders miss, but he accelerates quickly and works his way for a gain. It wasn’t shown yesterday, but his ability to create and extend plays on the run in a Klein system will be effective. Incredible pocket presence, too.

The biggest takeaway from his growth as a passer the last time we saw him is his ability to process the defense and work through his reads. Showed a lot of confidence last night and processed the field at a high-level. Here, he works through two reads before delivering a strike.

While his calling card will ultimately be his quick decision-making and accuracy in the short-to-intermediate game, he also showed his ability to stretch the field. He connected on multiple throws of 40-plus yards, including this second strike, the most impressive of the night.

In only three quarters of work, Casuga was efficient and consistent and leading his team to a 45-0 win over the second-ranked team in Utah.
