SSP schools closed today due to a safety concern
South St. Paul Public Schools announced around 7 am this morning, Wednesday, March 18, 2026, that all schools would be closed today and students will be on an e-learning day out of an abundance of caution following a safety concern.

2:20AM Update: Heavy snow struggling to reach the heart of the metro currently. Someone must’ve activated the Metro Storm Shield. Will just have to see what the rest of the storm does 😅
