A timely insecticide would’ve prevented some of this damage. Watch for ear molds, it could be a problem this fall.

One pass fungicide versus two. Most of these were V 10 followed by VT Miravis Neo. One of these is a split field the other three we left a strip down the middle. Central Nebraska

I honestly thought 2024 fungicide yield increases would be hard to top (30-50 bpa). This is Neo vs untreated. Incredible levels of tar spot and so rust. Plant is dead on untreated side. York county.

Yes there is rust in treated fields. Yes the fungicide is working. Trivapro vs untreated. Timing is huge again. This was tassel treatment. Waiting for disease to show up is a terrible recommendation and will cost some yield.

Saw too much of this today on good irrigated ground in central Nebraska. Not variety related. 60 miles apart

Low levels of tar. Exactly 1 year ago I couldn’t find a lesion to show folk at our plot tour. Now every field at least east of 281 it can be found.

Swipe ➡️ for a behind the scenes of our remote control car race featuring Storen corn herbicide. In partnership with @AGDAILYMedia, students from @hawksffa - Hampton, Nebraska FFA chapter NE0150 raced RC cars through Storen-treated corn rows to show just how clean those rows

Yep. Pretty fresh and spore like. Also note it doesn’t come thru the backside of the leaf

Crazy busy week. Long hours, pollen everywhere, tons phone calls. Now sitting in NW KS, all you hear are pheasants. Quiet is nice

Didn’t take long to find this yesterday. I’d say less than 10% of plants. My assumption is there is plenty of pollen out there, shouldn’t be an issue

By fairbury on every plant, also found so rust, not surprised it’s here. It was in KS with south winds. Disease triangle is environment, host, spore. 3 cases of wm I’ve found. I believe it’ll be worst white mold we’ve ever seen in areas. It’s all about timing and plant health

We’ll have 15 traps setup across central and south central Nebraska. Keep you updated

This was 40 bpa difference last year. Timing is everything. 85% of our fields that were sprayed a second time for southern rust, the first application was applied after July 25th…. Latency period and the plants were already heavily infected. VT or bfor imo is best timing
