Also, we need full analytic grid capability. I.e. a matrix (need tablix) that can expand beyond the screen size instead of limited to the chosen screen size. I would create an idea for this, but I don't believe the dev team pay much attention to those ideas.

#PowerBI debate. We need an excel Power bi visual. The ability to insert an Excel table into a page. Then, to be able to insert any field into any of the cells. Basically, we need an Excel grid + OLAP formulas in a PowerBI visual. We also need SSRS Tablix in PowerBI.

#Copilot experiences. Today, I was amazed. Needed to do something in powershell. I don't know powershell. 1 hour later, I have a sophisticated script that does what I need. It would have taken me at least a day via search and would have been a half baked solution.

#PowerBI unless I am mistaken, there still is no way to set a default value on a column at the model level? I.e. when a specific user connects, their default is always = X? A user specific default value. Would love to be wrong here.

#PowerBI people. What custom visual do you recommend for KPI's? Looking for something close to the OOTB kpi, except instead of one target, I want 2. I.e. if Sales YTD was main value, then I want two targets underneath, such as v Last Year and V Budget?.

Over two months have passed since I raised a MS support ticket about a PBIRS upgrade issue. Plenty of contact for MS support, but actual real progress is virtually zero. Latest action was to roll back and re apply the update, just to prove that the update introduced the issue.

#copilot observations number 3.A client emailed me looking for a meeting next week. I drafted a response using copilot and asked it to check my calendar for 3 different time, in the morning and don't start at 9am It worked. The email doesn't sound like me, but that is OK.

The prompt "What questions are unanswered" is an interesting feature. Every response has the "Generated by Copilot. Be sure to check for accuracy." and this is very true. But not a bad effort. (and maybe my fast-paced cork accent isn't the easiest to follow ;-) ).

I asked "What did we discuss about X" and the response back was a decent summary of that specific topic and not just a rehash of the overall CP-generated notes. Considering that you can go back to any CP meeting, this could be useful to refresh your memory of old meetings. 2/3.

#Copilot observations - Day 2 (about 14 days since purchase). Held a team client meeting and used CP to summarize/action items etc. Not a bad job. It wouldn't replace my notes, but it would supplement them. 2/3.

I am not sure if this is related, but on the same tenant, when I try to manually refresh a dataset, it just doesn't start. Nothing displays in the refresh history. A quick preparing for refresh message and then nothing.
