It was good to support this on Sunday. It was fun to work with a great bunch of young people who gave up their Sunday for personal/professional development in football.
We successfully hosted our 2nd KickOff Careers workshop at Coach Road yesterday 🙌 A career development programme designed for young leaders. We had 1️⃣ 8️⃣ enthusiastic participants attend our workshop and soak up lots of key information. #DevonFootball

It’s an excellent point! We don’t need ‘celebrity’ athletes! We need insights from grass root experiences from ‘champions’ who understand the challenges of inequalities in sport and pa participation.
Nonsensical (once again) that achievements in the completely abnormal field of elite sport is basis for selection to a taskforce on physical activity Rather, it's input from people with lived experiences of challenges of physical INactivity & inequalities that's really needed.
