Police in Welland, Ont. say a 25-year-old man home intruder violently sexually assaulted a young child last night. This would've been just hours after others say a different set of home intruders robbed, shot and killed a father in Vaughan, Ont. in front of his three kids. Wtf.

On Sunday morning in Welland, police and paramedics were called to a home after a child under five was found seriously hurt. When officers arrived, they saw the front door had been forced open. The child was rushed to hospital outside the region and is now in stable condition.

I've followed a dozen or so Canadian criminal trials closely over the last year and the only successful prosecutions I've seen so far are peaceful Convoy protestors, Deanna Sherif and that guy who slit someone's throat before calling the police and pledging allegiance to ISIS.
