Work hums softer with paws at your feet, A gentle gaze, a heartbeat sweet. Deadlines loom, but calm surrounds, When love in fur and whiskers abounds.

Maternity Leave here we come… Pregnancy has been…a journey. However, also helping me to relate better to other female voices… it is surprising how many recommendations are not based on up to date research and are creating a climate of fear and mistrust towards your body.

It’s exciting to be involved in research such as this and important to share that so many in perimenopause are benefitting from strength-based exercise. Looking forward to seeing where your PhD work takes you @MarieGwynbleidd @skmc84 @Dr_Suzie_XuWang
#WorldMenopauseDay
Researchers are encouraging the use of strength training on #WorldMenopauseDay. @novadsmith has conducted research with perimenopausal women finding that strength training helped improve mood and increased resilience and feelings of empowerment - https://t.co/6nQHESJFIX

Prof. Peace used this prompt at the DEAP teaching conference🎤so refreshing to hear what people would like to change in curriculums…if structures wouldn’t be limiting 🛑I think most of my higher education missed the point and didn’t help students to GROW as a PERSON🫶

“It’s not the end, just a new beginning”- Jaya Trivedi. This was the first study of my PhD. RQ’s: ❓What affects mental well-being in Perimenopause? ❓Can ST be a feasible tool for mental health in perimenopause? ❓If yes, how can we make it feasible?
