Last time I checked, Gunn said no movie would be greenlit if the script isn't ready. But this "Number One Rule" no longer applies to his Man of Tomorrow, since it's schedueld to release in 2027, while the script isn't finished.

Jared Leto’s rendition of The Joker failed to meet the standard set by Jack Nicholson & Heath Ledger. Leto was given this role in large part because he won an Oscar just a few years prior. But he just didn’t live up to expectations & I don’t really enjoy this performance.
