Perhaps I missed it, but I have not yet heard the comment "Who order that?" repeated for what the muon is bringing us. The comment was made by Isidor Rabi after the muon's discovery was announced in 1936. Now again the muon is central in #leptonuniversality and #(g-2).

Als er geen wrijving bestond, konden we π benaderen op onze biljarttafel. Het getal π kun je namelijk benaderen door ballen tegen elkaar te laten botsen en via de muur terug te laten kaatsen.
