The launch of EE, BT acquiring EE and launching Sport, building Fibre ‘like fury’ to create the digital foundations for decades to come are all bold and brave moves I have been part of in my time here. I very much look forward to seeing what the next bold and brave moves will be.

We created a true market leader and have been the ones setting the standards for others to follow for years. This industry has always been defined and shaped by bold and brave moves.

From bringing Orange and T Mobile together to launch @EE, leading the integration of BT and EE to create BT’s Consumer Division through to the more recent joint venture between BT Sport and Warner Bros. to create TNT Sports, there's been so much transformation I've been part of.

Start of the week... and the end of an era for me. I’ve been lucky to be part of so many huge moments in our history and in this fantastic industry since I joined Everything Everywhere 14 years ago.

Since our partnership began, we’ve worked together to address issues such as racism, misogyny, homophobia and accessibility, while encouraging different communities to get involved in the beautiful game.

Football is part of the fabric of our nation, and we'll continue to invest in the sport at all levels across the UK.

Great to see the latest milestone in the London Underground mobile network rollout announced, with @EE mobile coverage now available across the entire Elizabeth Line – including tunnels between stations. As @MayorofLondon says, we're building a better London for everyone.

To set a new benchmark for UK networks by achieving a record-breaking score (surpassing a total of 900 out of a possible 1,000), is testament to our ongoing network leadership. More here:

As well as winning best overall network, @EE was named the leading operator in each of the nine large cities where local performance was analysed, including London, Cardiff, Edinburgh and Belfast.

More good news from our network team today: @EE has been recognised by connect and umlaut as the UK’s best mobile network following rigorous, independent, crowdsourced testing and analysis – for the 10th year in a row.

At the start of 2024, we committed to investing £6m to open 10+ new @EE Experience and Experience Local stores across the UK. Birmingham Bullring is the 26th store to open this year. Amazing! Thanks to all my colleagues who worked so hard to make it happen 👏 More:

Like all our stores, it's designed to help the local community explore the latest in connected tech. It includes a hands-on zone for testing the latest devices and getting personalised recommendations – and a Gaming Zone for gamers to test the newest consoles and games.

Nothing stays the same, and that can open the door to good things... On which note, it was exciting to see the launch of our new Birmingham Bullring @EE Experience store last week, with a little help from Birmingham and Aston Villa forward Emile Heskey.

Now is the right time for me to move on to a new chapter in my career, and a new challenge. I’ll let you know what that is when the time is right. It has been an honour to serve this business, my team, our customers and every one of my colleagues.

...and most recently our JV in sport with Warner Bros Discovery are just some of the major moves I'm proud to have been part of and led the team through. I’ll leave with great memories of my time here and want to thank every one of my colleagues who's contributed to our success.

I’m really proud to have led my incredible team through enormous changes in our market, constantly evolving and adapting our company at every stage of the journey. From the creation of @EE 12 years ago, the integration of EE with BT, our launch into gaming and new verticals...
