So with approx. 70% of our oil coming from Africa, why are we suddenly facing these HUGE fuel cost increases? Pls help me understand....
70% of global crude oil in South Africa is imported. What many dont know is that Nigeria is the biggest seller of oil to South Africa, makes sense if you consider the distance. After that comes Saudi Arabia. Despite a relationship with Iran, SA imports very little from them. π’

Happy Friday 13th!! Is it an ominous sign to wake up to absolutely zero network from @rainSouthAfrica? No, not really. Something most Rain customers experience on a daily basis. @MichaelJordaan must be proud!

Imagine if.... @CheckersSA had a conscience and chose not to #ripoff customers, then they wouldn't have had these customer complaints. It's their #greed and they got away with it for sooooo long!
Checkers has reportedly pulled one of its own-brand braai packs after customers complained that the pack contained more sauce than chicken. https://t.co/nCQBkafgRl

This @FlySafair statement reads like the recent @StandardBankZA statement. At the very first opportunity, they have forced the customer to pay more. Count me as one of your lost customers.
β οΈ Important Update: Temporary Dynamic Fuel Surcharge Aviation fuel prices have increased sharply in recent weeks, with Jet A1 fuel prices at South African airports rising by around 70% in just one week. To keep our pricing transparent for customers, FlySafair will introduce a

Here is the letter written in 1987 by the man that Trump has made his ambassador to SA. It would seem that he is an unrepentant racist and a pathological hater of Black liberation.

Imagine if... He had used the 3yrs while in power to root out corruption, restoring service delivery, and ensure that every community is treated fairly.
In my interview with Independent Online, I outline what it will take to fix Johannesburg; rooting out corruption, restoring service delivery, and ensuring every community is treated fairly. Johannesburg cannot follow a model where the cost of living forces residents out of their

Maybe I wasn't clear enough with yesterday's post - fuck @FlySafair
FlySafair has confirmed it will introduce a temporary fuel surcharge on airline tickets due to soaring oil prices. The surcharge will come into effect on 12 March. This will apply only to flights departing on or before 12 May 2026. https://t.co/7Lel8GT5xK

Why then is @FlySafair adding additional fuel costs their ticket prices?
WATCH | The Department of Mineral and Petroleum Resources has reassured South African consumers that there is no immediate risk of fuel shortages in the country. This comes amid public panic over the prospect of significantly higher fuel prices in the coming months as well as

And yet we still have no "crackdown" or is the "in crack" response to Deano taking his pomp on a taxpayer subsidized holiday..... π
π¨ The DA is cracking down on abuse of taxpayer money! Despite being one of the highest-paid public officials, Judge Daniel Thulare continues to stay in a state owned house despite an eviction notice. Minister Dean Macpherson's clean up at Public Works continues. β
