My old head office was at Hatfield. Didn't take me long to determine how close St Albans is. All the pubs in this thread are striking distance from the Comfort Inn 😍.
An afternoon pub crawl in St Albans - possibly the pubbiest town in the South East with an extraordinary number of very good boozers in a smallish town . First stop - The Garibaldi, a pretty back street Fuller’s that’s noticeably well run

427. Latest dog sit. meet Rocket the Labradoodle and Chilli, the fox red Lab. Hopefully we got the right names - the Labradoodle sleeps all day and the lab does not stop pestering for the ball to be thrown. Beautiful dogs, who enjoyed a 7m circumnavigation of Thorney Island

422. 5m around Droitwich canals. Burnt out Raven hotel covered in scaffold, with a road closure. Sunday lunch at Craddock's the Talbot. Where I had a Hobson's Town Crier because the beer style is noted on the pump clip.
