Medicaid work rules have been examined repeatedly and shown to not produce the wins these politicians desire: Most people are working. In addition, the administrative cost of verification raises state costs even more. This bill is a bust for Americans.
@ChrisMurphyCT Attention People who are trolling Chris Murphy. Look at the chart below!.See. Most Medicaid recipients work!.Some cannot work full time due to medical conditions. Others are on Medicaid because the cost of treatment exceeds what they can afford. For example, cancer patients

Beware the Senator who tells you it's a good bill, as U.S. Senate contemplates cuts to Americans' health care--with little regard for the impact. @LeaderJohnThune

Big, beautiful bill could be a big, bad budget-buster for #MissouriGovernment -- enacting restrictions on MO's health provider tax that supports the state's Medicaid program used by kids, adults, elders, veterans and individuals with disabilities.

Thrilled to be in #STL for @WiG_OPS conference. Bipartisan, across the country women leaders discussing policy and power moves to propel smart legislation that supports children, families and workers/job creators. Thanks @unitedwe__ for offering guideposts!

Placing Americans health care at risk is not just harsh, but foolhardy. @senhawleypress Proposed Medicaid cuts will eliminate health coverage for at least 137,000 Missourians - working families, seniors, kids, and people with disabilities. Leadership needed now.

Incredible! As a #MOHouse #moleg rep District 25, I heard a nearly identical bill. Criminalizing women, discussion of life in prison. Thought it was an aberration but seems this is part of a bigger playbook. Shameful. @AbortionAction.
West Virginia prosecutors will charge women who have a miscarriage—starting at 9 weeks. Felony charges would be brought following an "involuntary abortion"—or miscarriage. “If you were relieved, had been telling people, 'I’d rather get ran over by a bus than have this baby,'
