On Tuesday April 29th Sigma Tau Delta Mu Xi inducted three new members to the organization, Gabby Ives (left), Jenna Harrell (center), and Molly Finnerty (right). We are so happy to be joined by three new marvelous members. Congratulations and welcome to Sigma Tau Delta!

Jocelyn Simmons and Gabby Ives both attended the William and Elizabeth Bent Sophomore Leadership Program in Bloomsburg on April 11th and 12th. This program was extremely competitive with only 35 students across all three campuses being chosen to participate. We are so proud!

On Friday, April 18th Kayla Wheeland (left), Onyx McMillan (center), and Dr. Teri Doerksen (right) attended ithaca Colleges 7th annual Pippi to Ripley conference. The three each presented a paper for their panel on gender in young adult fiction.

Sigma Tau Delta Mu Xi celebrated international children's book day on April 2nd with the Mansfield Free Public Library. Sigma Tau Delta President Taya-Reese Johnson read The Lorax to the children while Miranda Lubold and Lilly Ulsh helped the children with two Lorax themed crafts

Sigma Tau Delta Mu Xi is hosting Speak for the Trees with Sigma Tau Delta. We are reading The Lorax plus two different crafts at the Mansfield Public Library on April 2nd, National Children's Book Day, at 4:30 p.m. We hope to see you there!
