A male Indian Gaur was found injured and uneasy while walking in sugarcane field at Kameri (near Islampur, Sangli). It was rescued by the Department and being medicated by Vets.. we appeal to all villagers to neglect the rumours if any

Maharajahs in the Hazaribagh/Chhota Nagpur area gifted each other tigers among other things. They used to capture live tigers using unique trap specially built for the purpose @JharkhandVan @RazaKazmi17 @wildwithwolves
