Kicking off the final slot of the marathon of sessions about place management and leadership on the theme of culture is @PlaceManagement’s @gareth_ipm He is presenting his PhD research about measuring the impacts of cultural events and his case study Chorlton Arts Festival 🎭

The final presenter is Joanne Larty who is focusing on local development within rural places - by the community, for the community. She is drawing on Bakhtin’s concept of the chronotope to reveal the heterogenous and dynamic qualities of place and rhythms of change over time🕰️

Third in our penultimate session on place management is doctoral researcher Jungha Im who is presenting her PhD research on area-based regeneration and the role of the social economy in this, drawing on multiple case studies across South Korea 🗣️
