A difficult morning for both sides yesterday, with the first team losing 3-1 and the seconds losing heavily 13-3. Never any excuses, we’ll bounce back. #COYY🟡🔵

Our first team also lost this morning, 3-1 against a new look @RushfordParkSun side. A game where we missed a lot of chances and credit to Rushford they took advantage. Goal coming from Jamie Hatton ⚽️ MOTM: Garmo - with “two worldie saves and an assist to match” #COYY🟡🔵

Our second team lost 4-2 this morning against a strong Lostock Rangers side. We took a 2-0 lead but frustratingly lost our way in the second half. Goals coming from Charlie Woolfson and MOTM: Benji Goldblatt ⚽️ #COYY🟡🔵

Our first team kicked off the @ChesmanSFL campaign with a hard fought 2-2 draw vs an ever strong Chorlton Sports side. Both goals were very well taken & came from today’s MOTM on his first team debut: Ben Lloynds #COYY🟡🔵

Our second team lost very narrowly 1-0 this morning vs Edgeley Villa Hatters in the league. More promising signs and plenty to build on in the coming weeks. MOTM: Louis Rubenstein. Commanding performance👏 #COYY🟡🔵

A controlled 3-0 win vs Konger Legend marks a great start to the season for our second team. Goals coming from Spencer on his second Maccabi debut, Jay Saipe and a returning Jacob Huller ⚽️ MOTM - Si Rabinowitz who didn’t put a foot wrong. #COYY 🟡🔵

Our second team also suffered their first defeat of pre season in a well contested battle vs @traffordmersey on Wednesday night. It ended 6-3, with our goals coming from Snelson, and Charlie x2 ⚽️ #COYY🟡🔵

Our pre season continued this morning with a well contested game vs @WestDidsburyAFC Vets team. We drew 1-1 with AJ getting the goal for us. #COYY🟡🔵

Our first pre-season game was last Sunday where a mixture of both squads ran out 3-1 winners vs Salford Athletic. Goals: Jamie Hatton, Jonny Franks & Jay Saipe ⚽️

After a year long hiatus, admin is back & with news⚽️ The 1st and 2nd teams have been working extremely hard this pre-season as both sides look to compete for trophies 🏆 Our 1st team will continue in the @ChesmanSFL & our 2nd team have joined the @SDSFL #COYY🟡🔵

And finally we received news that long term 1st team captain @adamjackson12 will be stepping down in this role ©️ After 10 years he’s decided to give the armband up and focus exclusively on playing. His commitment, effort and passion in this role has been unparalleled. 💛💙

The 1st team Players player of the year, Managers player of the year and the club Top goalscorer was a clean sweep 🧹 43 goals in 26 games, he led the line well & helped the team get to 3 finals ⚽️ Well done to @AaronGoldman1 on your last hat trick of the season 🏆 🎩

The 2nd team Players player of the year had a huge impact in the latter part of the season. He was a key reason for the upturn in results & is a great recent addition to the club. Aggressive off the ball & composed on it. Well done to Zalman Cohen 🏆
