Where to start.... Hops or grapes 🙄 bumper crop of each in our gardens means a lot of fresh organic wine and fresh hopped beer to make ASAP.....After that I think the apples and pears take a back seat this year and remain as apples and pears not Cider!

Back in 1860 if you were caught making brewing malt you got a 30 UK pound fine, unless you ratted out the owner of the contraband malt! 30 quid back then is ~4000 now. Nothing has changed😀 when it comes to raking in fines.

Well pointed out. Cash is king! And people see Blanchardstown SC as their local friendly shopping centre. If we Stop using plastic and invisible money we may actually be able to give friends / needy gifts that arnt 'taxed' or 'stolen" by the billionaire bankers!

If I hear "it's stout season" again...... Or "great weather for a stout" Can anyone give a social, scientific or practical reason why "Craft stout" is aparently only for certain times of the year? But Guinness is all year round isn't it?

When blanket terms like awesome, amazing, iconic, incredible are routinely used to influence sales of Irish craft beer it kinda makes me sad. No dought there are some beers that deserve applaud and some brewers who are genuinely good but the industry needs a wake up call

With10 years growing hops in the Maltcracker gardens the enjoyment is the same when we harvest and dry our hops and brew. Each year our Bohemian (Czech) Pils using our Saaz hops is a special treat and for us and our friends. Naturally Clean clear and on-style after 4 weeks tlc.

Summer beer....wah???. who said crisp cold lager? Fresh bavarian classic weiss with foam as thick as cream and a spritzy citrusy finish following a mouthful or bavarian wheat and barley malt and full classic weiss yeast charactor. Thats a step ahead of summer lager for me!

Just realised im nearly 60 and happy out! Thank god I have happy memories still alive and vivid. Before phones pcs and twitter there was a different world out there that most dont know about. Highlight was golden discs on a saturday with a 33 under arm on the 68 bus home

Cans are cool but bottles rule! Bottled vienna lager! As it tastes down that southern germany direction and if not on tap I prefer the bottle. So until the pubs open again. Cheers @BrewingDew @Hartes_Kildare. @MaltcrackerInn
