Am I wrong to feel this way? I’m a content creator—but also a potential customer. I wasn’t asking for free gear. I was trying to open a conversation, learn, and explore what it takes to collaborate in a meaningful way.

What came next genuinely surprised me. Their reply felt belittling, dismissive, and unprofessional. It was four vague words followed by an ellipsis—without even the basic courtesy you'd expect in a business email.

They replied and told me I’m not the right fit for their marketing plans. Fair enough—that’s understandable, especially since I’m running a fairly new account with a small (but growing) following. At this point, I was still planning to buy their lenses.
