They’re an important part of the process. Look. Everyone wants to be paid, but volunteer work for fun projects are a great way to get work. Heck my proof of concepts were all volunteer works that eventually got me jobs! Both for voicing and sound design. Plus it’s a lot of fun.

For what it’s worth, it’s humbling my work is discussed this passionately (On both ends, lol). Audio is so rarely discussed in animation and you can see how much of a difference it makes (for better and for worse) depending on your tastes. I hope you’ll give my other work a shot.

It’s absolutely fine if you don’t like it! Many people don’t. But I’ve also had a lot of people express a lot of love for it, many of which who saw it and chose to hire me. That means a lot. It’s lead to me leaning in harder or dialing back when necessary. ->

I do miss the acoustic signatures I made for each character, and Alastor had me dipping in and out of his radio performance effects by the syllable. It was my first real animated show and I wanted to really give this show as much attention and care as I could. I still like it. ->

It’s strange seeing my work still talked about with hazbin. Viv and I discussed for a while on our tone initially(even Gooseworx weighed in) and we settled on around rocko’s modern life (which has a lot). I’ve taken much of the criticism to heart as I’ve done more sound. ->

A few years back I was so enamored by zootopia’s setting I ran a murder mystery RPG called ‘cold blooded’ about a group of snake royalty seeking amnesty in zootopia after a coup. With the suspect being a mysterious cloaked person. I’m genuinely curious how the sequel’s gonna go.

In my darkest moments, I remember that we all want to see someone’s vision executed this passionately and expertly. I’m speechless.
