I'm officially in the post-MorlVision blues where I don't know what to do with myself! Thank you to everyone who was involved, or helped sourced performers, or just listened to me vent whilst I lost my sanity!

Not to get too superstitious; but is this a sign? There can't be too many references to both magpies and apocalyptic events today, right?
"It has also been said that the magpie was the only bird not to enter Noah's Ark, instead deciding to sit on the roof and swear at the drowning world" -- perhaps my favourite piece of folklore from this very entertaining book.

Tonight at 7:30pm BST the impeccable @seanmorl will be rerunning last year's contest over on https://t.co/QPrLrHHE4X Derbyshire won with a song about tripping on LSD in the Asda Café... Which might help contextualise some of the random shenanigans I've been asking for lately!

The Morlvision Song Contest 2023 is two weeks away! Watch live on May 7th at 6.30pm BST as 26 teams with 78 random prompts create all original songs and music videos. To prepare, we asked @terrywoganVEVO what he's been up to since Morlvision 2022 and... he sent this.

Massive thanks to the team at @ordsallsingers for getting involved in my ridiculousness this evening! (Even if I had to keep reassuring newcomers it wasn't anything *too* suspect... ...just @seanmorl levels of bizarre.)

Fair to say; judging by last year's winner; the standard is exceptionally high. Have I bitten off more than I can chew? STAY TUNED.
Last year's winner was Jen & Rolo & @schafersam representing the country of The Sea with their heartwrenching slog ballad "The Mill (Just Keep Working)" https://t.co/zEYJDGe8Gw

We had the joy of seeing the first ever show of @NationalTheatre's tour of @neilhimself's The Ocean at the End of the Lane at @The_Lowry It's excellent theatre But, we did wonder, why do we never say 'the book is better' after watching theatre adaptations? https://t.co/OypxwNDc6e

... certainly not me with a discreet glass of wine in my hand trying to spit out the name 'Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime' on the spot. Which is a terrible tongue twister at the best of times.
Hear what some of our audience thought of The Ocean at the End of the Lane after seeing it on Opening Night! https://t.co/VVXjYZ0wO9
