So grateful that I get to round up my 1st year of competing in Tekken by joining Manila Madness 4. I just hope to play as best as I can and be able to enjoy this weekend as much as possible with everyone that I meet there. See y'all there! 💙

Need to change and improve my mentality and mental strength respectively somehow, still so sensitive to too many things that happen all around me

Im very happy naman for those who won over me a while ago, they played way better than me & deservedly won those sets. 'just hard to keep competing when it feels like a lot of things around me reinforce my bad thoughts to stop winning & playing. Ice cream will help for now tho 🥹

Y'know, it's so hard to keep on competing when there's a bunch of people vocally rooting against you, when you lose they get loud and when you win people whisper... I know it shouldn't get in my head, but it has. I'm sorry but i feel nothing but hurt and unmotivated to play rn.

not playing tekken is fun

from one cancerous game to another, i need better more chill games HAHAHAHHAHA

need to stay away from tekken for a day or two, starting to feel burnt out when i opened the game a while ago after 3 straight days of locals last weekend and now i need a new game to play

got 2nd/38 in back 2 back locals, lost to the same person in winners and grand finals again last week. happy with how i played against everyone to get such a high placement again along with playing way better against the eventual winner compared to last week. great & fun local💙

My personal favorite sequence of my 2nd Place run. The sidestep df2 into massive wall carry & damage, composure at the wall leading to the sideswitch parry combo, and ending it with a perfectly delayed timing low. I love Leos parries #T8_Leo 💙

Other than all that, really happy with the way I played against everyone today cuz they all were really strong, although im happiest with my 1st match cuz i had to change my playstyle against the guy i fought cuz they rolled me in my last local and it paid off (nice victory meal)

Learned in this tournament that I got to massively improve on the way i get off the ground, approach, and apply real pressure against those who have near perfect defense, offense, & those who can react to both my dangerous lows (hellsweep and df2+3) (more thoughts n pics 🧵⬇️)
