Throwback Tuesday: A Letter to Myself Mag, it hasn't been easy, has it? We've been through some really rough and crazy times, and lots of heartache...and backache, from the looks of this photo. But you know what? We've always given our best to the things we've set our heart on

Mum turns 65 today. 30 years ago, she gave up her teaching career to stay home for me, and later on, my younger brother. Growing up, I remember how she was an avid reader and used to review books first before letting us read them. Jane Austen, C.S. Lewis, Roald Dahl, J.K.

Closing March with some rest and relaxation in preparation for a long first week of April. Thank you as always for watching my little colouring videos here on X and over at YouTube, which received 115% more views this month. 🫶 Good night world! Dream. Hope. Believe.

Lookie what I chanced across today! Meet the red powder puff, otherwise known as Calliandra haematocephala. Its fluffy blooms might look like pom-poms, but they're actually made up of hundreds of tiny stamens that attract butterflies, hummingbirds and other pollinators.

Colouring this reminded me of Wenwu Temple, which stands watch over Sun Moon Lake in Taichung. I visited it over a decade ago in December 2013 while touring Taiwan with my family. That misty view from the top, of the sun setting behind the mountains, of boats in the distance

"What makes the desert beautiful...is that somewhere it hides a well." ~ Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, The Little Prince It's been a very tiring few days, especially with all the clean-up to be done at home due to multiple issues that arose, like our roller shutters breaking down

Dad was born on 24th March 1962, the Year of the Water Tiger, which is probably part of the reason why both his cubs turned out to be Children of the Sea. 🌊 And I'm blessed that together with Mum, he didn't raise a princess, but a battle-ready warrioress who can hold her own in

I often think I would've done very well on a farm. I'm no stranger to long hours of manual labour, or to time and task management. And somehow, I feel it'd be a lot less stressful and probably much more rewarding than the daily grind of city life. That being said, I'm grateful

Happy #StPatricksDay2025!!! 🍀 Did you know that the original colour associated with St Patrick was blue? However, green stole the spotlight over time - thanks to Ireland’s lush rolling hills, the shamrock, and probably some sneaky leprechauns making fashion choices. 😆

This is now officially my favourite towel. Mum found it hiding somewhere in her wardrobe (it's like Narnia or the Room of Requirement in there), brand new with the tag still on. Perfect addition to my bathroom! Funny how the smallest things can bring us the most joy. 🐬

It's been a much more relaxing weekend than usual. Managed to get some undisturbed rest and even a little bit of cosy game time in. That makes me one happy dolphin. 🐬

I don't enjoy doing house chores, especially on weekends, but there are at least 3 less tangible reasons why they're important in our daily journey: 1. Doing smaller things we dislike builds physical and mental stamina to persevere in doing bigger, more unpleasant things. 2.

Took this photo yesterday during a site visit to a rooftop garden. Morning glory waking from its rain-kissed slumber. #FlowerFriday

If it were up to me, I'd be bringing a capybara to work every day. Stress levels would decrease tenfold, and yes, 'levels' because I'm including all my colleagues and anyone else I might meet along the way. 😆 PS: While they're known for being the world's chillest animals,
