Please practice good fire safety by making sure fire hydrants are clear of snow. In an emergency, every second matters, and when hydrants are blocked, concealed, or difficult to access due to snow or ice, it can impede the response to an emergency by the Madison Fire Department.

Christmas trees may be placed on the curb for pickup by the DPW from December 26, 2025, through January 31, 2026. Residents can also bring their Christmas Trees to the Recycling Center on Saturday, January 3, and Saturday, February 7, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
