Can’t make it personally, but exciting to see @adwalker71 presenting some new cycling aerodynamics research at the @ISEA_Journal conference that the Lboro team have been working on, including some of my research from my time at the university.

Group rides & sessions don't have to stop after youths, and we'll look to keep doing what we do for as long as there is appetite for professional and enjoyable group sessions and general group belonging. Also nice to have @JezCox bringing home the race on the mic like old times

Lboro crit brought another academic year to close, & once again an opportunity to bring many of our group together. In the race the boys did their job, 3 coached in the top 4 & 7 group riders in the top 7. Seeing so many riders succeeding and happy reminds me of why we started.

As predicted, yesterday a rider not only lost out on the day, but also lost the Overall @BritishCycling National U23 Series on the basis they didn't have a TT bike. Costs? Logistics? I dont know, but this can't be the right message to send. Bike racing is expensive enough already

Dissapointing to see TT bikes allowed here. Huge additional pressure on parents in an already overly expensive sport. You want to win, pay another £4k. More cost and larger carbon footprint with less car sharing too with multiple bikes required. For what gain to the series?

Building relationships with managers and DS's, in the UK and France, is a crucial role for supporting & mentoring young riders. Trusting a team to best support your riders removes uncertainty and we hope to maintain this relationship with Team U Charente Maritime into the future.
