Excellent day at #railinnovation2023 with some great conversations about the data we can deliver on rail performance from the customer POV. The only downer was to hear DfT talking about HS2 as if nothing had happened to trash a vital national infrastructure project. .

Well it does work. You can take your bike off-peak on the Elizabeth line. But the lifts are difficult to navigate due to confusing signage. The ‘you are here diagrams’ show schematics with no levels but in the lifts they give levels not marked on the diagrams!

Today’s travel challenge: taking a non-folding bike on the Elizabeth Line to Heathrow for a meeting. You can only enter with a bike at some stations and only travel in certain directions at certain times. So let’s see if this works😬.
