This is literally what edge of fate was for the most part and people were livid with how little new content there was as a result of the focus on QoL Problem is a lot of it just missed the mark Now we need an operation health for the operation health
I think D2 needs a year similar to operation health in Siege just focusing on key issues of the game before worrying about new content

This is all aside from content creation/my career too. I’ll happily go back to working software dev no problem, but not having something like destiny to come home to and game on with the boys would fuckin suck.

I want destiny to bounce back so bad man. Its been such an important and joy filled part of my life for a decade. I’ve made literally hundreds of friends and enjoyed thousands of hours through it. There is nothing to replace it, its so special.

I realize now the bleak reality with destiny 2 is that there are hundreds of thousands of people that won't return under any circumstance. They don't care what updates happen, what gets improved, or what gets added. Doesnt matter. For that reason alone it might be time for 3.

At the end when you “Reach through time” I thought for sure it was going to teleport us to a different timeline where we run the remainder of the mission with some sort of crazy twist, so when it just ended right then and there I felt so blue balled

Heliostat isnt necessarily bad because its short, but more so cause it doesnt really have any WOW moments The mechanics and combat are somewhat bland and it doesnt feel like it has much identity beyond summoning psions It also ends right as it feels like its getting interesting

Bungie makes a huge decision to not reset power, something the whole community was asking for, and the responses are all “dead game let it die fuck destiny” Like holy shit how miserable are some of these people? Its genuinely unbearable to have to listen to every single day.

Doesnt necessarily mean that sticking to the power reset is a better alternative- based on community sentiment its definitely not… But it does seem like a new can of worms
