She joined Commissioner Sarah Lucido at the St. Clair Shores Tree Lighting. There were performances by local dance schools and choirs, arts and crafts, and an appearance made by Santa Claus.

Commissioner Barbara Zinner enjoyed a festive evening at the Harrison Township Christmas Tree Lighting alongside Supervisor Verkest. The L'anse Creuse High School Band played Christmas music, residents warmed up with hot chocolate, and there were activities for all ages to enjoy.

Residents bundled up and enjoyed refreshments, a smores station, hayrides, goodie bags for children, and more. He also attended the 6th Annual Roseville Holiday Lights on Wheels Parade. The community decorate their cars with lights and toss candy along the parade route.
