I picked up this TNA Abyss fig today for $10. I think i did pretty good.

He was a throw away figure unless I got creative.

Here's the starting point. He wore a crimson mask in another life. You either need to throw those figures out or work with what you've got.

Ok fig guys. Genuine question. I know the way I'm leaning but just curious to get opinions. Would you prefer to have a decent original or a very good repaint? This #LJN HTM is my example. One will move on and one will stay in the PC. #figlife #askmajorpod .

I have no reason to own this, but its one of the coolest toys I didn't know existed until today. It's tempting.

Busy couple nights in the restoration studio.

The LJN figures that came in the color of the majority of the figure, with flesh tone painted overtop are tough to find in nice condition. This one was very gently played with but still didn't look great. A splash of paint and this HTM is so much better!

One of these guys got a makeover. The other is original. This is a tough one for me. I was lucky and the paisley details were nice so it was just the belt, hands, face, hair and boots that needed some work. Very rewarding project.

I have way to many rings, but they are one of my favorite things. A good collection needs a playset for the figures.

I picked up a very rare Bundy thumb wrestler last year. It came in very rough shape, but I got what I paid for. I was very happy to get it but wished it was a bit nicer. Some black folk art paint and a coat of mod podge later he looks much better. P.S.A. don't use sharpie!

I don't have a lot of bca figures left but what I've kept are very fun. When they did a box set they did it very well. I love that there are old enough sets that some have the block WWF logo.
