Birds drop a close one in extra innings vs Morton 0-1. Pitching dominated for both teams. Well played game we can build off of. Headed to Bloomington on Saturday.

Redbirds walk it off in extra innings to beat the Washington Panthers 3-2. Pitching was fantastic. Petri going 6.2IP,5H,2R,1BB,7K. Adams gets the win 1.1IP, 0H,1BB,1K. Lueddecke had a pair of hits, including the game winning hit in the 8th inning.

Birds win at home! The offense was led by Petri 4RBI, Lueddecke 3RBI and Bucy 2H. Sauder gets the win 6IP, 3H, 4BB, 8K’s. Cronkhite throws a perfect 7th, striking out the side.

Birds get the win! Petri was the player of the game throwing a complete game shutout, 7IN, 1H, 10K’s, 1BB. Lueddecke led the game off with a solo home run and that was all Petri needed. Back at it Monday!

Tough loss in the home opener. Birds jump out to an early lead and then claw their way back before falling to the visiting Ottawa Pirates 8-9. Smith led the offense with 3 H & 4 RBI. Young, Petri and Jones each had 2 H. Adams was electric going 4IN, 0BB, 7K
