Pat and Terry were awesome today. So much credit to them especially with how close they were with Franklin. That was what we all needed to hear and they both have to be a huge part of the future. We gotta rally behind this team the rest of the way. WE ARE FOREVER

I feel much better right now than I did 24-48 hours ago. I trust Pat Kraft’s decision making with the coaching search and I trust Terry Smith to bridge the gap. Terry said we need to starting enjoying ball and we need to get our swagger back. Let’s ride y’all!

Penn State AD Pat Kraft on interim coach Terry Smith and if he's going to have a shot at the full-time job: "Absolutely. Everyone is under consideration. I’m going to help Terry do everything he can to help run the table."

God, I love these guys. Whatever your headspace right now, both speaking with passion and authenticity about loving Penn State. Means a lot right now. Grateful for strong, steady leadership. The best is yet to be.

Just such a sad day. Will always be thankful for all the experiences I got to have with my friends because of the program Franklin built up. Really wish it went like it was supposed to.

Probably my last thought on the matter. This sucks. I understand why it happened and the frustration right now. But man, I hope someday people will look back on James’ tenure with the fondness it deserves. Was really a great representation of the program.

This remark by AD Pat Kraft is spot on. Franklin rebuilt this program. It’s the expectations he set that are the same ones he couldn’t meet. I honestly think James would agree with this.

Only coach I’ve ever known as a PSU fan. Have met him 20-30 times and every time I walked away liking him even more than before. Really hope his legacy at PSU also remembers the good times. Thanks for the memories CJF
