It’s not that Democrats don’t understand men have a competitive advantage over women (though some are in denial about this), it’s that they literally don’t care if every women’s elite sports roster is entirely composed of biological men.

Democrats can’t budge on putting men in women’s sports because accepting that competing with “trans women” could be unfair to women requires an admission that there’s a real and morally significant difference between “trans women” and “cis” women.
Permit reform hasn’t hit the way they wanted it to so now the Abundos are bargaining away trans rights.
