Troopers conducted a speed enforcement project today on Interstate 44 in Jasper County. With the help of our aircraft, multiple violators were stopped. Speed is the number one contributing factor in serious injury and fatal crashes. Buckle up, phone down, slow down.

Troopers will conduct a hazardous moving enforcement project in the second half of August. This special enforcement will take place in Stone and Taney counties. Removing distracted, impaired, and aggressive drivers from the roadway will be the focus of this project.

On August 2nd, troopers responded to a leaving the scene crash on MO 59 at Quapaw Lane near Neosho. The incident possibly occurred around 10 pm. If anyone has any information related to this incident, please call the Highway Patrol at 417-895-6868.
